Apprentice Plumber

Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Glenside is entering its 7th year in business and we are growing! We provide employees the feel of a small, locally owned shop but also have the national name brand recognition, training, and support of the Mr. Rooter Plumbing franchise. The owner/operator is in the office or field everyday helping technicians sell and complete jobs.
We are searching for an Apprentice Plumber to join our growing team. Ideally, you already have 1-2 years of experience working with an established plumbing company or construction/maintenance experience in the plumbing trade. You must exemplify our code of values, show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees.
This position is hourly (rate negotiable) with the opportunity to grow and become a service technician earning base pay + commission. We provide everything you need to be successful and earn as much money as possible. You will receive a company van, equipment, iPad, iPhone, all materials, training, and more! We are also looking for plumbers to grow with our company and get promotions into estimators, field managers, dig crew managers, supervisors, etc.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Work with other team members on installations performing a variety of tasks such as light demolition, preparing inventory, assisting in water, drainage, and gas system repairs, digging, using tools and equipment, etc.
- Install repair and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and residential environments
- Perform drain cleaning on plumbing systems
- Perform minor to complex service work on plumbing systems
- Identity proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects
- Keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced, clean, and in good working order and condition
Job Requirements:
- Licensed or possessing prior verifiable plumbing experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to operate basic hand tools necessary for the craft
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional appearance and personality

Compensation: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
